XPOST in Cologne
To make your journey to XPOST Cologne as easy and relaxed as possible, we have put together various travel options for you.
Thanks to its central location, getting to XPOST Cologne is particularly convenient. You can reach us easily from all directions. For a relaxed and inexpensive journey, we recommend taking the Deutsche Bahn.
Please note the following important information on how to get here: Access to the XPOST site (Gladbacher Wall) is only possible via Krefelder Straße. Please bear this in mind when entering the address into your satnav.

Arrival by public transportation
The S6, S11, S12, S19, RB25 and tram lines 12 and 15 stop at Hansaring station, which is approximately 800 metres from XPOST.
The 127 bus stops at Krefelder Wall station, approximately 250 metres from XPOST.
From Köln Messe/Deutz train station, which is located directly next to Art Cologne, you can reach Hansaring station in just 5 minutes on lines S6, S11, S12, S19 and RB25.

The best way to reach us from Cologne Central Station is by tram (lines 12 and 15), S-Bahn (lines S6, S11, S12 and S19) or RB25. Travel to the Hansaring stop and then it’s only about 800 metres on foot to XPOST.

Arrival by car
Directions
If you are travelling from Neuss or Dormagen via the A57, continue along this road until you reach the end of the motorway (K4). The road will then merge into Innere Kanalstraße. Follow this road for about one kilometre, then turn right onto Krefelder Straße. Shortly afterwards, you will find the entrance to Gladbacher Wall (the XPOST site) on the right.
If you are travelling from Leverkusen via the A3, take the B55a towards Cologne city centre/Zoobrücke. This federal highway leads directly to Innere Kanalstraße. Follow Innere Kanalstraße until you can turn left onto Krefelder Straße to reach XPOST.
You may still see the old ‘EXPO XXI’ signage, which indicates the location.
Parking at XPOST
We want to make your arrival as pleasant as possible. On all set-up, exhibition and dismantling days, the XPOST security team will greet you on the street and direct you to the site.
Information about the parking garage
The garage is open to guests and exhibitors during DeutscheVET, with five separate entrances.
Each level has its own entrance, which is what makes this car park special. This is not immediately apparent when entering Gladbacher Wall. Security staff will be on hand to help you find your way around the site.
How to find the other entrances:
After the first entrance to the car park (which leads directly to the basement), continue straight ahead for approximately 100 metres.
Drive under the visitor bridge.
You can then turn right onto the access ramp, which leads to the other four parking garage entrances on the upper levels.
The Green Environmental Zone in Cologne
On 1 October 2019, the city of Cologne expanded its “Green Environmental Zone”. This covers large parts of the city. Only vehicles displaying a green sticker are permitted to drive in this area.
